Beans on toast, the New Zealand way
A tin of Wattie’s Baked Beans or Wattie’s Spaghetti, heated and spooned over buttered toast, is the classic Kiwi quick dinner. There is a 50% Less Added Sugar version of the beans, and Oak makes baked beans and spaghetti in tomato sauce too.
Tins and the 2 kg box
A tin is almost all food and sauce, so it is one of the heavier things you can put in a box. One shipping rate covers the first 2 kg of an order, with a step rate per 0.5 kg above that. Two or three tins of the one you miss most still leave room, and the rest of the box goes further with lighter things like Cup a Soup sachets or a box of cereal.
