Whittaker's

Whittaker’s has been making chocolate in Porirua, New Zealand since 1896. Five generations of the same family, same factory. They roast their own cocoa beans in-house, making them one of the few chocolate makers in the world that controls the process from bean to bar.

The 250g blocks are what New Zealand runs on. Creamy Milk is the classic, but the craft range is where things get interesting. Fijian Ginger & Kerikeri Mandarin, Marlborough Sea Salt & Caramel Brittle, Nelson Pear & Manuka Honey. Each one uses named New Zealand ingredients from specific regions.

The Peanut Slab is in its own category. A dense bar packed with roasted peanuts in milk chocolate. Hokey Pokey Crunch has crunchy honeycomb pieces through creamy milk chocolate. Dark Ghana 72% is single-origin Ghanaian cocoa for anyone who likes it intense.
