Pic Picot started making peanut butter in Nelson in 2007 after he couldn’t find one he actually liked. He bought a roaster, set up in a garage, and started selling at the local farmers’ market.

Pic’s Peanut Butter is now the number-one peanut butter in New Zealand. The one in the tall jar with the yellow label. Hi-oleic peanuts, slow-roasted, ground fresh. The Crunchy has visible peanut pieces throughout. The Smooth is dead-smooth without being oily. No-salt versions available for both.

Every jar is made in Nelson on the South Island. Simple product, done properly. That’s the whole pitch.
