Cookie Time

Cookie Time started in Christchurch in 1985 when Michael Mayell baked his first batch in a home kitchen. The Original Chocolate Chunk cookie, the one in the red wrapper, became a New Zealand icon. You’ll find it in every dairy, petrol station and school canteen in the country.

We stock the full-size cookies, Rookie snack packs and the Cookie Bake take-home range. The Triple Chocolate Chunk is for people who think the original doesn’t have enough chocolate. The Strawberries & Cream Bites are the sleeper hit most people don’t expect to love.

Cookie Time cookies are baked thick. They’re meant to be dense, chewy in the middle and crisp at the edges. Nothing like the thin crunchy biscuits you’re used to.
